Day by Day, He leads,

So we can follow,

Day by Day, He whispers, not a bellow!

We sometimes get ahead of ourselves,

He is so gentle and caring,

He lets us go

And soon enough, We realise,

We have jumped again!

Day by Day, we learn

Day by Day to unlearn

Day by Day we learn

The Master's Manuscript, He's given,

The Book, Oh! That says it all,

He let us in,

And soon enough,

We do not need to jump ahead again!

Day by Day, we ought to read,

Day by Day, Oh! To follow,

Day by Day, where He leads!
